Welcome! I am currently the Instructional Services Librarian at Dominican University. In addition to my library work, I have regularly taught in the Composition Programs at Harper College and Roosevelt University where I’ve also taught Intro to Women's and Gender Studies. As a librarian, I have dedicated my career to teaching and continue to hone my skills with technology, assessment, and responsive learning. I am currently working on research that explores the practice of feminist leadership in academic libraries with my colleague and friend, Freeda Brook and exploring the authority of personal experience in student work. In addition to my MLIS from Domincan University, I hold an M.A. in English and a Graduate Certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies from Roosevelt University as well as a B.A. in literature and cultural studies from The Evergreen State College. I am also a company member with 2nd Story Chicago and select performances are available in Creative Work.
